Blue a brilliant and beautiful shade Shining from the darkness Trying to see a brighter side The black of the night becomes a burden Light so bright at first it hurts Comes flashing in and eases pain Hoping for light and its promise of freedom Slowly moving towards the blue That powerful blue of the morning sky Still black in the corners Light begins to brighten the dark little world Eyes on the prize The fight for light The hope for that brilliant blue
